Hogan is owned by his breeder/handler Lynn Salamin, and lives in Michigan. He has a very exciting experience at the Colorado Specialty in 1999, he escaped from the person transporting him, and he was gone in the wilds of the mountains for a week and a half. Lynn and others from the National Club had to organize a search party that lasted longer than the Specialty. When he was finally found he was thin and tired from his travels.
Hogan completed 2000 just short of the Top Ten (number 11) in the Nation in Breed Points and Group Points. He has a very exiting 2001 yet ahead of him.
