Chili was the number 2 brood bitch nationally in 1997. Meaning that she was the dam of the second highest number of puppies that finished within the calendar year. This picture was taken of Chili when she was a veteran, and she won Best of Breed at a RRCUS supported show for a club medallion. Years before this photo, Chili was severely injured by a horse that kicked her. Her thigh was shattered and extensive surgery was needed to install over a dozen pins to rebuild her leg.
