Amber was a "return to the breeder"  The owner had purchased 2 Pierce daughters from two different litters. The owner had been working nights, and because of a promotion at the Hospital, she suddenly had additional responsibilities during the day, and the two bitches because destructive. The breeder had attempted to repeat this litter and we had hoped to get a puppy rather than a stud fee,  unfortunately the attempt was unsuccessful. When Amber became available, we jumped at the chance to add this beautiful bitch to our home.

Amber was enormously fat when we got her, and she immediately went on a diet to drop 20 pounds. We received Amber in February, and she completed her championship the following Summer. 

She's a powerful bitch, that enjoys hunting the property, but has no desire to "hunt" the plastic bag and get her Lure Coursing title.

"Chilli"

Chili was the number 2 brood bitch nationally in 1997. Meaning that she was the dam of the second highest number of puppies that finished within the calendar year. This picture was taken of Chili when she was a veteran, and she won Best of Breed at a RRCUS supported show for a club medallion. Years before this photo, Chili was severely injured by a horse that kicked her. Her thigh was shattered and extensive surgery was needed to install over a dozen pins to rebuild her leg.
